PPF Aftercare Guidelines


  1. First 48 Hours:
  • Please avoid washing your vehicle during the first 48 hours post-installation. This allows the film’s adhesive to settle properly.

  • Rain is perfectly fine and will not impact the installation.

  1. Full Cure Time:
  • The film will fully cure over the next 14 days, depending on environmental conditions.

  • During this period, you may notice minor hazing or small bubbles — this is completely normal and part of the curing process.

  1. Book a Complimentary Check-Up:
  • We recommend booking a follow-up appointment once the film has cured to ensure everything is settling as expected.


PPF Maintenance & Cleaning Tips:

  • Washing: Use a pH-neutral automotive soap and a microfiber mitt for hand washing. Avoid automatic car washes with brushes.

  • Drying: Pat dry using a clean microfiber towel. Do not use harsh drying tools or abrasive materials.

  • Pressure Washing: If using a pressure washer, keep the nozzle 18–24 inches away from the film’s surface and edges. Do not aim the jet directly at seams or edges.

  • Products to Avoid: Do not use abrasive polishes, clay bars, or waxes containing dyes or petroleum distillates on the film. These can degrade the surface over time.
